Renovation woes
This has been one busy period! Not only did I have to finish my Macau stories, I also had to supervise (more like watch over) the workers repairing and renovating my house toilets.
As the contractor is only helping me as a favour to my babysitter, I had to endure almost 10 days of slow, painful progress. Why? because he can only start after his normal work hours, which means he's only at my place only after 6pm! Sigh.
Anyway, the ordeal's almost over -- the house is full of dust every night. Luckily my maid's still around. She's only going back on the 23rd.
But look at my downstairs toilet now. Isn't it comfy? Looks like those in upmarket hotel loos, doesn't it?
