Nice weekend
This has been a great weekend. Had lovely dim sum with Lian Peng, Lih Juin and kids before my family headed to Tesco in Damansara to buy our family reunion gifts. Our haul: a set of nice glasses, some pretty handkerchiefs and some chocolates.
Then we met up with Lian Peng and family again for a nice lunch at the Ikea restaurant. I ordered the fish and chips which was nice. Loved the free refills of cappuchino.
The Jolin concert that evening started off badly as it was drizzling. Luckily, the skies cleared up but the VIP seats alloted to journalists sucked big-time. I could hardly see the stage and had to content myself with watching the sexy Taiwanese gyrate on the relatively small screens. No way I'll be writing anything! Oh, well.
When it ended, the terrible jam at the carpark held us back for almost an hour before my family as well as KK's godmum and godsis ended up at the mamak for supper. Jennifer and her dad joined up and we called it a night only after 1am. Phew. I was dead tired but very happy.
Sunday's church sermon was appropriate -- Christmas! I'm kinda looking forward to it though I will be working on the eve. Never mind-lah. I hope to finish early.
What's next? Oh yes, next week's family reunion in Genting. Yippie!
