Fine food, great company!

It's been a while since I enjoyed myself so much but last night's potluck to celebrate Xiao Meng, Pastor Chuah and Wei Leng's birthdays was great!

First the food. I contributed KFC (easy-mah) while Pam made delicious curry chicken and dhall. There were also pasta, bak kut teh, Cantonese fried noodles, Hokkien mee, ice-cream, cake... Yum!

Everyone there mingled well, even the children -- who ran though the house playing hide-and-seek -- and my Form 2 daughter was even mistaken for college-going, which made her beam the whole night.

Pastor Chuah spoke to me at length on the five Languages of Love, namely Words of Affirmation, Gifts, Touch (Hugs), Quality Time and Support(?). Must have thought my marriage needs a bit of help, ha ha.

Anyway, thank you, Lord for giving me the joy of knowing such wonderful people. Thank you, Lord for making my life that much more meaningful with a greater purpose.

Potluck again

It's been a while since I last updated this blog. What can I say, I'm lazy, ha ha.

What has happened since? Well, I came back from Macau, renovated my toilets (not a good decision as I am thinking seriously of buying a bigger house), attended Guang Liang's concert and wrote a book review.

The Deepavali and Raya holidays are coming to an end and I am looking forward to the year's end.

Tonight, Ephesians CG is holding a potluck to celebrate three birthdays -- Xiao Meng, Wei Leng and Pastor Chuah -- and I'm kinda looking forward to it. I'll just be buying KFC as we have no maid and the missus is not exactly the cooking kind. Hee hee.
